Common Q&A
Do you offer farm tours or visits?
Currently, we do not offer farm tours or public visits. Our farm is also our private residence, and our busy schedule keeps us from accommodating tours at this time. However, we participate in local events and markets where you can experience our blooms firsthand.
Do you grow all of your flowers?
While the majority of our flowers are grown from seed on our farm, some plants, like peonies and roses, are sourced as plugs or bare roots from other growers. Occasionally, to fulfill specific color palettes or orders, we may supplement with flowers from other local farms or, rarely, from wholesalers outside the U.S.
Are your flowers organically grown?
Though not certified organic, we employ organic practices. We avoid pesticides and herbicides, focusing on soil health and fostering beneficial insects to maintain a balanced ecosystem. This ensures our flowers are safe to touch and smell, just as nature intended.
How can I purchase your flowers?
We offer various purchasing options, including bouquet subscriptions, individual bouquets, and DIY Bloom Buckets. Availability and ordering details are updated regularly on our website.
Do you offer wholesale options?
Yes, we provide wholesale flowers to local florists, designers, and businesses. To access our wholesale availability and ordering page, please email us at pineygroveflowerfarm@gmail.com with your NC Sales Tax Exemption form.
Can I order flowers for my wedding or event?
Absolutely! Our DIY Bloom Buckets are perfect for weddings, bridal showers, and other events, allowing you to create personalized floral arrangements. Visit our DIY Bloom Buckets page for more information.
Do you provide full-service floral design for events?
Currently, we focus on providing fresh flowers for DIY arrangements and do not offer full-service floral design. However, we're happy to supply beautiful blooms for you or your florist to work with.
How should I care for my flowers after purchase?
To keep your flowers fresh:
Use clean vases or buckets filled with fresh water.
Trim stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in water
Change the water every 2-3 days and keep arrangements out of direct sunlight.
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes, we offer free delivery within an 18-mile radius of our farm for orders over $75. For orders under $75, a $15 delivery fee applies.
