March is here! Only 20 days until it's officially Spring!

Hello flower friends!

March is finally here and in 20 days it will officially be Spring! It is our favorite time here on the farm and we can't wait! After our long, chilly winter, there’s nothing quite as uplifting as the first signs of Spring. Here on Piney Grove Flower Farm, we see it firsthand—tiny green shoots breaking through the soil, delicate buds forming, and eventually, an explosion of color that feels like nature’s way of saying, “Hang in there, brighter days are ahead!”

Spring is a season of renewal, both in nature and in our hearts. The vibrant hues of tulips, the delicate flutter of anemones, and the cheerful nods of narcissus remind us that life is always moving forward, even when it seems to pause. They bring with them a sense of hope—a reminder that no matter how tough the season, beauty and joy will return.

We have noticed that our blooms are behind by several weeks this year, due to the colder-than-normal winter, but the wait is always worth it! The delay makes us even more appreciative of Spring’s gifts and each blossom to come feels like a small victory, a promise that warmth, color, and life are returning. Flowers have a way of lifting spirits, brightening our surroundings, making a house feel more like a home and reconnecting us with the simple joys of the present moment.

Tulips and narcissus

Spring reminds us to embrace new beginnings, to find joy in the little things, and to hold onto hope. And if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that flowers always make the wait worthwhile.
